SEEKING:

[PAUL KIBEBE ROTH] 20s, African American, he’s a handsome, muscular, passionate and talented artist who clearly adores Jilly — but is gravely concerned about her lapse into drug addiction. Certainly not wealthy or socially well-connected, Paul is treated with contempt by both Jacqueline and Zillah, who don’t think he’s good enough for Jilly. But Paul soon proves his worthiness.

[SOPHIE] 40s to 50s, African American. Earthy and kind, she is the Mitchell’s housekeeper and has been with the family for years. She enjoys braiding and styling hair. Natural Caribbean and African accents welcome.

[FAITH] 50s, this full-figured, casually attired African American woman runs a remote retreat devoted to recovering addicts. A serene, wise individual, she has seen it all — and she inspires confidence in her visitors.

[CLARISSA HOOVER] 40s, this gorgeous African American woman, who is married to a wealthy and successful businessman, has been close to Jacqueline since they attended college together. A bit of a gossip, Clarissa love to dish the dirt.

[DOCTOR AMA] 40s to 50s, female, Indian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, East Asian, Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Filipino, Native American, Mediterranean or Mixed Race. This regal psychiatrist heads the rehabilitation center where Jilly is sent after her overdose…SUPPORTING

[CHUCK HOOVER] 40s, African American, this successful and wealthy businessman has been Magnus’s close friend since college.

[GARFIELD] 20s, African American, this strapping and extremely handsome young man is Faith’s partner. He assists at the Sandy River Retreat, which specializes in the treatment of recovering addicts.
