ONLINE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
We invite all who are appropriate for this project to submit a short video audition (under one minute) by following the instructions below. This is a regional commercial and we are only accepting video auditions from those who live in the following states: VA, MD, NC, GA, KY, PA, SC, TN and WV. To complete your submission there are TWO STEPS:
Step One: Fill out the submission form HERE.
Step Two: Email us at commercial@arvold.com and include:
- Your name and where you are based in the subject heading.
Use the following SUBJECT HEADING for your e-mail (personalized to YOU):
Your First and Last Name, SPOKES FARMER, WHERE YOU ARE BASED (City and State)
For example:
John Smith, SPOKES FARMER, Richmond, VA
- Attach Two Photos — a RECENT close-up of your face as well as a full body shot. Cell phone pics are not only fine, they are preferred. We only need to know what you look like right now. The pictures do not need to be fancy.
- Tell us about your Experience: If you have real life experience working on a farm or any other similar kind of physical labor, please include this information in your email submission. And only if you have one, also include your acting resume in PDF format.
- Include a video or link to a video (under one minute in length) of you telling us about yourself and/or why you love Virginia — include whatever you think best gives us a clear representation of who you are. Again, it doesn’t need to be fancy, cell phone footage is perfectly fine (see below for more video tips).
For the video, please make certain that the lighting and sound are good, we need to see and hear you! Frame yourself in medium close up (head and shoulders) for at least part of the video. A “selfie” video is fine. The goal is that we get to know your personality and style, so please just be yourself!
When sending us your video, you may use an online service like Hightail, WeTransfer, or Dropbox if your video cannot be sent as an attachment. Alternatively, you may send us a private Youtube or Vimeo link, making sure that the video is downloadable and include any necessary password. Do NOT send .wmv or .avi files.
If you are able to email your photos/video with proper subject heading and information AND fill out the form successfully, your submission is considered complete.
Thanks so much for following our instructions!
For this project, we are accepting video auditions for initial consideration. Submissions with video must be completed and received before August 6th but submit ASAP for best consideration. Submitting does not automatically get you an additional audition, but it does get you considered for one. We are only able to respond to those submissions we select for further auditions, but we sincerely appreciate your interest!
