educational web series – casting complete

**CASTING COMPLETE**

Arvold Casting is seeking female actors for a seven episode web series that will be part of a national program on developing healthy habits in young children. The series is being produced by Pierce Mill Entertainment and Education in association with JD Andrews, Marilyn Smith, and Carol Day, who are former directors of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  Actors with local housing in the DC Metro Area are especially encouraged to apply for this project, but all are welcome.

SEEKING:

MADISON – 20s, Female, African-American.  An excited and driven, albeit naive, first-time preschool teacher who is fresh out of college.  This role is currently scheduled for 13 total filming and/or rehearsal days at $150/day (+ agent / travel allowance) totaling * $2,500. Exact dates in March/April TBD.

TAMARA – 40s – 60s, Female, Caucasian.  A beloved preschool teacher who has twenty-seven years of experience and knows all the tricks in the book, but is unwilling to change.  This role is currently scheduled for 13 total filming and/or rehearsal days at $150/day (+ agent / travel allowance) totaling * $2,500. Exact dates in March/April TBD.

LUCINDA “LU” – 35-45 years, Female, African-American.  A sarcastic and funny preschool teacher who is good friends with Tamara.  This role is currently scheduled for 5 total filming and/or rehearsal days at $150/day (+ agent / travel allowance) totaling * $1,000. Exact dates in March/April TBD.

ROSIE – 40s, Female, Latina.  A no nonsense and demanding preschool program director.  This role is currently scheduled for 5 total filming and/or rehearsal days at $150/day (+ agent / travel allowance) totaling * $1,000. Exact dates in March/April TBD.
