arvold LIVE, Ch 2: Your Picture, Your Resume, Yourself
Please join this conversation in a series of sessions open to all film artists and artisans.
Our own casting director/producer Erica Arvold, CSA, and acting coach Richard Warner invite you to a discussion about the creative life and an actor’s craft. They’ll talk about what it means to be artists and industry professionals while living a happy, holistic life.
In Chapter Two, Erica and Richard will lead a discussion about self-presentation, with a focus on the relationship between the three-dimensional person and his/her two-dimensional headshot and resume. They’ll discuss the essential elements of a successful headshot and resume, the importance of making sure your authentic persona shines through your materials , and how to make those materials stand out from the huge pile on the casting director’s desk.
This series explores the philosophical and pragmatic aspects of not only maintaining but growing your career, polishing and refining your craft, raising the bar of this industry, and keeping yourself healthy.
