Total Prep Fusion is a one day 8-hour intensive providing actors personal, in-depth instruction and practical, professional advice on the preparation process. This class combines Arvold-Warner’s core curriculum Total Prep 1 and Total Prep 2. Master teacher Erica Arvold guides actors using the Arvold-Warner 10-step preparation checklist for creating character for film & television. This multi-layered, progressive study is for intermediate adult actors, college-level and above. The Arvold-Warner approach is a synthesis of the major 20th century acting methods, with a focus on supporting and developing each individual’s personal practice while also expanding their craft toolkit. Grounded in the detailed study of a scene, actors explore efficient, effective techniques for creating action-based characters for the audition as well as the set.

NOTE: Class participants are limited to 16 students. Class in-person observers are limited to 16 students. We are also offering, for the first time, a virtual observation opportunity via LiveStreaming and this is in real time only (no recording will be available later). The livestream virtual observer is limited to a number of students as well.

Actors will deepen their ability to create exciting, original and personal work. The first half of the class is discussion and exercise based, and the second half is intensive coaching – please come prepared to work!

Enrolling as an IN-PERSON OBSERVER allows students to witness and absorb the concepts presented in Total Prep Fusion from a rare perspective. Observing Total Prep Fusion is a unique way to be present for the essential information of all 10 steps, having the ability to take notes, implement the written work, and study the on-your-feet exercises explored by participants. Observers will have an exclusive Q&A session with Erica Arvold. We welcome new students or previous students looking to review the steps in the Arvold/Warner Total Prep curriculum. Observers will be attending the first half of class from 10am-2pm.

Enrolling as a LIVESTREAM OBSERVER rids the location constraints and allows students to witness and absorb the concepts presented in Total Prep Fusion from a rare and virtual perspective. Observing the LiveStream of Total Prep Fusion includes access to the essential information of all 10 steps and an opportunity to view on-your-feet exercises explored by participants. LiveStream observers will have the ability to submit questions for a Q&A with Erica Arvold. We welcome new or previous students looking to review the steps in the Arvold/Warner Total Prep curriculum. LiveStream observers will attend the first half of class from 10am-2pm.
