2020 came roarin’ in with two film premieres in competition at Sundance: Charm City Kings (Winner, Best Ensemble), and The Evening Hour. Our casting celebration continued as we were nominated for CSA’s Artios Award for our work on Harriet. We are honored to be in the company of such spectacular films and fellow casting directors, and are grateful to everyone involved, especially our rockin’ casting offices in Virginia and Georgia.
We are also thrilled to share that Erica has been nominated for Best First-Time Director in the Indie Short Fest LA International Film Festival for her work on Here Today. We look forward to what lies ahead for this poignant film. Erica’s other recent directorial endeavor, Thursday, shows on the big screen in Atlanta February 23 in The Pool Part 2 at Dad’s Garage. From Erica: “Every single person on these projects created magic daily, thank you! This journey continues to be an honor.”
arvold.education’s collaboration with LA Reels has been a wonderful success in Atlanta; this unique combination of craft practice and content creation will soon be available in additional regions. Arvold Warner Studio’s offerings keep us on our toes as they quickly fill to capacity (see below for some rare openings).
