Arvold Casting is searching for actors for an exciting museum project.

Cortina Productions is working with the Yorktown Victory Center to produce an interactive multimedia experience related to story and legacy of the Revolutionary War. The Yorktown Victory Center is in transition and will become the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown in late 2016. This experience will play an important role in allowing visitors to discover the complete story of the Revolution: Britain and the American colonies before the Revolution, events leading up to the war, battles and people of the American Revolution and building a new nation post war.

Pay:  $250 for one (1) half day (plus 20% if agent)
Usage:  Full buyout
Travel/Lodging:  Provided if applicable
Audition:  Self tape or in-person in Charlottesville VA

Note that the time period is circa 1781 so an appropriate period look is required for all roles.

Seeking:

DANIEL MORGAN:  Mid 40’s, Caucasian male.  A rugged man from the frontier who led riflemen and irregular troops during the American Revolutionary War.  His men often called him “The Old Wagoner” because of his style and physical ability.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

BANASTRE TARLETON:  20’s, Caucasian male.  A British soldier and politician during the American Revolutionary War.  Authentic British accent required.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

RICHARD RANDOLPH:  Age 8-10, Caucasian male.  A boy growing up in colonial America.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

WILLIAM AUGUSTUS BOWLES:  Age 18, Caucasian male.  An adventurer and loyalist who lived among the Native Americans during the American Revolutionary War.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

JAMES ARMISTEAD LAFAYETTE:  Early 20s, African American male.  Served in the Continental Army during the American Revolution as a double agent against the British.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

DAVID FANNING:  Mid 20s, Caucasian male.  Balding.  A loyalist leader in North and South Carolina during the American Revolutionary War.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

SHADRACK FURMAN:  Late 20’s-30’s, African American male.  After escaping his enslavement and building a life as a free man, Shadrack was attacked for his loyalist beliefs.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

BENJAMIN WHITECUFF:  Late 20’s-30’s, African American male.  Born to a free farmer, Benjamin faced harrowing dangers as he spied for the British.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

FRANCISCO DE MIRANDA:  Early 30’s, Hispanic male.  A Venezuelan revolutionary, romantic, adventurer, and an idealist.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

MYER MYERS:  Late 50’s, Caucasian male.  A Jewish silversmith in colonial America.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

JEMIMA CONDICT:  Mid 20s, Caucasian female.  Born in rural New England, Jemima kept a diary of her life in colonial America.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

MARY PERTH:  Late 20’s-30’s, African American female.  An enslaved woman who was deeply spiritual and able to read, Mary escaped and sided with the British during the American Revolutionary War.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

ESTHER DE BERDTH REED:  Early 30’s, Caucasian female.  English born wife of Joseph Reed. After moving to Philadelphia, she hosted some of colonial America’s most influential people such as George Washington, and eventually supported the American fight for independence.  Authentic British accent required.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

REBECCA BREWTON MOTTS:  Mid 40’s, Caucasian female.  Very wealthy, beautiful, and light-haired.  Rebecca married a plantation owner and supported the colonies’ rebellion against the British.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

MOLLY BRANT:  Mid 40s, Native American female.  A highly-anglicized Mohawk woman.  Ally of the British during the American Revolutionary War.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

MARTHA WASHINGTON:  Age 50, Caucasian female.  Wife of George Washington.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.

MERCY OTIS WARREN:  Early 50’s, Caucasian female.  Wealthy, from New England. A political writer and propagandist in favor of the American Revolution.  $250 for one (1) half day of work.
